These terms govern your use of The Podcast Assistant (the "Service"), a web application for searching podcasts, building outreach campaigns, and drafting pitch emails. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. If you're signing up on behalf of an organisation, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required to start. Trials are limited to 25 searches, 2 campaigns, 8 contact lookups, and 8 AI-drafted pitches; CSV export is unlocked once you're on a paid plan. Trial limits may change without notice.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in AUD, through our payment processor Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal, no phone call or email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
Each plan includes a set number of monthly searches, campaigns, AI-drafted pitches, and (on some plans) a maximum number of team seats, as described on our pricing page. We may block or limit usage that exceeds your plan's limits.
The Service is for legitimate podcast outreach. You agree not to use it to send unsolicited bulk email in violation of applicable anti-spam law, to scrape or resell the podcast catalogue or contact data in bulk, or to attempt to circumvent plan limits or access other customers' campaigns or client data.
Pitch emails and follow-ups are drafted by an AI model based on information you provide (your writing sample, podcast details, and campaign notes) and public podcast information. AI-drafted content can be inaccurate or miss context. You're responsible for reviewing and editing every draft before sending it, and for the outreach you send.
You can connect a Gmail or Microsoft 365 account so the Service can send the pitches and follow-ups you write or approve, from your own address, straight away or at the times you schedule. By connecting an account you authorise us to send those emails, and only those emails, on your behalf. The permissions we ask for, and how we protect them, are described in our Privacy Policy.
You are the sender of every email that goes out from your account. You're responsible for what it says, for choosing recipients it is appropriate to contact, for honouring any request to stop, and for following the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and to your recipients.
We pace sending using the daily limit and sending hours you set in Settings, and each pitch gets at most two follow-ups. We may slow, pause, or stop sending from your account if we see signs of misuse or a risk to email deliverability. Your email provider has its own rules and limits, and decisions it makes about your account are outside our control.
A scheduled email goes out at its time unless you cancel it in the app first, or record an outcome for that show, which cancels the emails still waiting for it. An email that has been sent can't be recalled. You can disconnect an account at any time from Settings, and sending from it stops.
The podcast catalogue is sourced from Podcast Index and other public sources. Host and producer contact details, where shown, come from third-party enrichment providers and public information. They're not guaranteed to be accurate, current, or available for every show.
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of AI drafting or contact lookups that goes meaningfully beyond normal use of the plan you're on.
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that podcast, episode, or contact data will always be accurate or complete. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
